I'm afraid we only work on PCs. It is possible we could help you with a Mac or Linux problem, so do feel free to ask, but we really only specialise in fixing PCs using Windows.

We charge £50 (minimum) for the first hour and then £15 per half hour, or part thereof, after that. Please be aware that we don't charge for travelling to see you, but any other transport costs and time spent travelling necesary to the repair, e.g. if we need to go and get parts for your machine, will be added to your bill.

No, and we don't pretend to. What we do have is several years experience of fooling around with Windows until it breaks and then learning to fix it. This gives us a general understanding of how computers work and where to look if something goes wrong. We also have a very good, worldwide knowledge base to refer to if you have a problem we have not seen before.

For any software problems this won't matter. However, opening up the case to install a new card or drive will invalidate the warranty so we prefer not to do this.

Hopefully not. Worst case scenario is that we would remove your hard drive and take that away if necessary. This will only be done if the drive won't access on your machine and we need to take it away and piggy-back it in another computer to retrieve the files, or you have a virus that stops you using the Internet.

Hopefully yes, although we may have to remove your hard drive and take it away. Viruses come in all shapes and sizes so it is impossible to guarantee any kind of result. Best thing to do is switch the computer off and call us so we can hopefully minimize the damage.
